Cordially Yours Inc. was purchased by Norman and Marilyn Benhatzel in October of 2003, and soon became known as Benhatzel’s Cordially Yours Inc. Wine and Spirits, located in Depew, NY.
In May of 2006, Marilyn decided to purchase the store from Norman and continued on as the sole owner and operator of Benhatzel’s Cordially Yours Inc. Wine and Spirits. Soon after, her daughter, Jeannine Babcock, came on board to help run the now Mother and Daughter team liquor store.
Together, Marilyn and Jeannine focus on attentive customer service and providing customers with the best selection and everyday low prices. They have transformed CYW&S into one of Western New York’s most successful women owned businesses.
In June of 2019, the Mother/Daughter team won a National Award recognizing the store as a TOP 100 Retailer! Nominated and presented by the National Trade Magazine, Beverage Dynamics, they accepted the award in Louisville Kentucky representing WNY!
In June of 2020, 2021 and again in 2022, the store was the recipient of the TOP 100 Retailer Award presented by Beverage Dynamics Magazine, making it four years in a row the store was given this esteemed honor!
Most recently, Buffalo Business First awarded the store with the Inaugural Family Business Award, honoring multi-generational and family businesses in WNY for overall excellence, innovation, ethics, philanthropy and contribution to the strength of the region.
Just announced for Summer 2022, the store was voted “Fan Favorite” in the “Best of 716” Contest sponsored by the Buffalo News, for Best Wine Store and Best Liquor Store!
